PSP Wallpapers
This is a new site where I shall post high-quality PSP wallpapers I made myself from high-resolution pictures and photos of various artists.

I shall update this as often as I can find something worthy since the birthday of this journal: Dec 05, 2006. The site is young. You're welcome.

Update: From now on you can download full size wallpapers for your PC/Mac! I provide links from all 480x272 PSP wallpapers to their large, usually widescreen originals (if available).

If you think that some pictures published in 480x272 infringe somebody's copyright, please contact me. And if you are an author of some photo/picture, published 480x272, and you want it to get removed from this journal, then leave a comment and I will remove it as soon as possible.

And... let's make it clear: I'm making it for myself, it's a stream of fine pictures which reflect my tastes and mood. I love to make wallpapers out of beautiful pictures.
But let's make it really clear: If you read my blog, I'll become a bit happier in this world of rare beauty.

Why 480x272?
Because PSP screen has 480×272 pixel resolution (i.e. 16:9 ratio), so PSP wallpapers shall be 480 width × 272 height.

How to install wallpaper to your PSP?
First right-click on the PSP wallpaper you want and select "Save As" to download it to your computer.

1. Connect your MS Duo card to your computer in one of the following ways:

• Insert MS Duo card into Memory Stick reader/writer with a USB cable, or
• Connect your PSP (with the MS Duo) to your computer with a USB cable. To activate connection, navigate to the "Settings" menu on the PSP menu and select "USB Mode".

2. Browse to the MS Duo /PSP on your computer and copy 480x272 pixel wallpapers to /PSP/PHOTO/ directory.
If you want to, you could create subdirectories in this location to keep your pictures organized.

3. Now navigate to the "Photo" menu on the PSP. You should see your wallpapers here. While viewing image on your PSP, press "Triangle" button to display the control panel and you will see the option "Set as Wallpaper".

Note: You need 2.0 or newer firmware to install saved wallpapers on your PSP.

Обои для PSP
Это новый сайт, где я буду как можно чаще выкладывать качественные обои для PSP, сделанные мною из картинок и фотографий различных авторов. Журнал открылся совсем недавно: 5 декабря 2006 года.

Обновление: теперь я по возможности выкладываю также ссылки на полноразмерные обои, из которых "нарезаю" обойки для PSP.

Если выложенные здесь обои нарушают какие-либо авторские права (или если вы являетесь автором картинки и не хотите, чтобы она здесь лежала), напишите мне комментарий, и я удалю из журнала соответствующее изображение.

Почему 480х272?
Потому что экран PSP имеет разрешение 480х272 точек, соответственно, обои должны быть такого же размера.

Как установить обои на PSP?
Сначала сохраните картинку на вашем компьютере.

1. Подключите карту памяти MS Duo к компьютеру:

• Воспользуйтесь кард-ридером, либо
• Подключите PSP (с карточкой памяти) к компьютеру с помощью USB-кабеля. Для активации соединения на PSP в меню приставки выберите столбик "Settings", а в нем пункт "USB Mode".

2. Скопируйте обои в разрешении 480x272 в директорию /PSP/PHOTO/ на вашей карте памяти PSP.
При желании в папке /PSP/PHOTO/ можно создавать подпапки.

3. Теперь включите PSP и перейдите в меню "Photo". Здесь вы увидите скопированные обои. При просмотре изображения на PSP нажмите на кнопку "треугольник", на экране откроется меню изображения. Чтобы установить обои, выберите пункт "Set as Wallpaper".

Внимание: для установки обоев на PSP вам потребуется прошивка 2.0 и выше.
